2006: The Season

It seemed like this would be the year Tudo Bem SC would be able to claim the coveted Intramural Champions' T-Shirt. After a thrilling, but heart breaking season last year, Tudo Bem set out to make this season different. Despite losing a handful of players, Sir Fergouwski brought in a whopping 9 new signings. The players came from all parts of the world including soccer crazed countries like Germany and England. After a 3-0 start, Tudo Bem stumbled in their last game of the season against Illivi Victory. The blame, however, does not fall on the players, but rather the Tudo Bem SC Board. Tudo Bem SC failed to turn in the captain's test prior to the start of the season. Sir Fergouwski was very disappointed for the team. "It was a mistake by the Board. They were under the impression they had turned in the paperwork for the playoffs. The test had been completed, but someone had forgotten to turn it in. It's a shame since we would have moved on to the playoffs. The other team's recognized the error and were okay with it, so why would the Intramural Board have a problem with this? Certainly there was a way for our team to get in, however, the Intramural Board was against us. It's clearly a personal issue." Sir Fergouwski's coaching ability has come under scrutiny from the Tudo Bem fans and according to rumors, a few players. Indeed, Sir Fergouwski is getting much older and not many managers have been in charge of a major club like Tudo Bem for so many years. But Sir Fergouwski is still believed to have the heart and fire to keep his team winning. "The year was great apart from the playoff incident. It's true we believed we could have won, but that was never guarenteed. I think this year was great for the team, yet it's unfortunate that we're going to lose a player like Bosslet and Richardson, being it their last year" commented Fergouwski. It seemed like Tudo Bem did have a great year. The team learned to play together and even adopted a style. Despite a 3-1 record, the team never seemed to be at the top of their game. Although the future of Tudo Bem is in doubt, if the team remained for another year they look dangerous and capable of winning the Intramural T-Shirts. Even though the future is uncertain, Tudo Bem SC has announced plans for the rest of the season. Sir Fergouwski plans to create a practice schedule for the club. In addition, the team plans to join and train with International Football Club at Irwin Football Facility in January. There are plans of changing the training to intensive 5v5 training and technical drills. Nevertheless, the plans will be determined soon. The Tudo Bem Soccer Club website would like to acknowledge the players of the team.
Billy Barmes- A fantastic new player with energy, heart, and experience. Billy put the team first and never complained about playing a new position or waiting to come in on the side. He was able to fight in the midfield and gain control. Billy coaches for other teams but he should always keeps playing for himself.
Philip Powell- A skilled player that immediately claimed the outside midfield position. He is intelligent on the field; his quick passing play or decisions to take on defenders caused problems for the opposing teams and always started Tudo Bem's attack.
Min Lwin- Although he was solid last year, Min broke out as a key player. He's the fastest guy on the field and he made use of it. Usually playing attacking center midfield, Min won the ball on our end and pushed it forward. He's one of the hardest working guys on the field.
Jeff Luong- It shows that he learned his soccer from the same place as Min. Jeff was a team player as a forward. His passing and hard work always helped the team offensively. Jeff set the pace for the season with his breakout performance of 2 goals.
Alexander Reventlow- Alex was great for the club. The giant German played midfield and defense; he played in the center of the field and also could play the outsides. His crunching tackles gave a message to the opposing teams. Although he played great as a center midfielder, his outside midfield work, running up and down the field, was valuable.
Matthew Richardson- Tudo Bem is grateful, priviledged, and lucky to have landed the former semi-pro, captain of Nottingham Forest University. Mattie pulled the strings in the midfield. He was unbelievably skilled, megging opponents, winning headers, and playing ridiculous long balls into space. His words at halftime kept up the spirits of the team. Simply the great one, he will be missed.
Chime Asyone- When Chime is on, there is no stopping him. The best word for Chime: power. He can carry three guys on his back. He'll defend a defender, he's just frusturating for the other team. This is what backs him so indispensable. Although Chime didn't get the goals, very rare, Chime's emotions and heart were always left on the field. Soccer needs passionate players.
Pitor Bzdyra- There are more midfielders on this team than for any other position. Despite being a talented midfielder, Piotr was a superb defender. He knows the fast pace of the offense, and he was quick to pick up on being a defender. He can connect from the back and he has confidence on the ball. He has great potential there.
Matt Swecker- Matt's goal changed this team from a team that was endanger of not making the playoffs to being top of the table. He ha an excitement and love for soccer. His good spirit and personality helped the team. Matt helped by playing in the back and mid. With little playing time, Matt did not have enough time to show his great skill.
Ergin Ceyhan- The man responsible for the website and keeping this team together. He understands the game and his experience was extremely helpful. During difficult times in the defense, Ergin could change the tides of the game. He made this website and brought experience to te team.
Erik Ramsland- Erik left another team, which he was the captain, to help Tudo Bem. He is an underrated player. He led the team through his tough defending. He was needed at defense, but he's unbelievable all over the field.
Steve Immen- Steve never complained about a position and always came off the field to allow other players to get time. Steve is fast and strong. He's like Chime as a defender or midfielder. He's extremely selfless and polite, he needs to credit his talent. Steve was great for the team.
David Rockwood- Dave is another guy that makes this team work. He'll play anywhere at anytime for any small amount of time. He's smart on offense and he helps move the ball in the midfield. He gets other involved by sharing the ball. Dave did the job of the midfielder and connected the defense to the offense.
Joshua Paschedag- It's funny how the goalie was the major focus last year when we didn't have one, and not that there is a goalie, no one talks about him. Last year Tudo Bem lived on the edge not having a goalie. Tudo Bem has the best man between the posts. Josh in an amazing goalie, he's agile and talented. Although there wasn't much said about him during the year, Josh gave the team confidence knowing that he was watching our backs and could save us in goal.
Timothy Bosslet- Tim missed a lot, but it was great having him again for when he was there. Tim is a gifted soccer player. He's an athlete and he'll always be one of the best Tudo bem players.

No Playoffs

Sorry no playoffs. i apologize to everyone on the team first. I let you guys down, I asked all of you to play on my team, and all of you guys had other teams you could have played on. I messed up but like I said I had thought all this time I had turned in the captain's test. I did it last year, I did it this year I just didn't turn it in on time. I thought I had turned it in at registration. It's really easy, it asks questions like when does a kick off take place, can you use your hands in soccer, what is the intramural website. There was a loophole in the handbook saying that teams who failed the test would be notified if they were ineligible for playoffs. The sentence before says any team who does not take the test can not retake it, no exceptions. I was told by the assitant director and the captain's test grader that I failed the test since I didn't turn it in. Since I failed and was never notified about not being eligible I thought we had a chance to get in, because they failed to follow the handbook. Another assitant director called me and told me I was reading into it and that incomplete is not the same as failing. I told him at the university if you don't take a test you fail it, it's a zero. We argued and I told him that I wanted to speak to the director. Eventually he hung up on me. I've been arguing for a week straight sending emails, phone calls, and meeting with directors. On Friday it seemed like things were in my favor, another assitant director felt that we should be let in and he'd talk to the other directors. He told me he wouldn't be able to change it, but everyone would discuss it. He was the former intramural director, I thought he could carry some weight. Anyways, I messed up and I was hoping they'd see it as an accident too. I apologized and I was hoping they could cut me a break. I'm upset because they had the ability and chose not to. If I was certain I turned the test in why would I checked earlier. I remeber doing the test, it was all complete when I found it later. Throughout the process, it's always been an argument to prove me wrong, it's never been about let's see what we can do to help. I had to see Gary Miller and beg if he could just talk to everyone. Charles Anderson said no from the first minute and never offered to talk it out with the other directors. I've been lied too and I've never spoken to Jesse like I requested many times. I've been told mixed messages and I feel that we've accepted their mistakes in refereeing and cutting our last game short. We paid money for 25 minute periods but they cut it short. Other captains said it wasn't a problem and I offered to prove this in writing. I know many people on each team, the captain's most importantly. Intramurals is designed for people to have fun and play. If everyone sees this as no problem then why would the Intramural people have a problem with this. Especially if it was an accident and since there was a loophole. I think it's clearly personal. Charles and I got in an argument last year about player eligibilty. i said it was dumb a player is completely kicked out of intrmaurals if they played on two teams. He was pissed, now look, they're changing the rules for next year! Decide for yourselves. I'm done with intramurals, these arguments have been really stressful. They clearly could have cut be a break, but it has to do with personal conflict. They forwarded me the email they sent, which they said showed that I had been notified our team was ineligible. The email was a general email to everyone saying thank you for registering, check the website for the league, and if anyone has not turned in their captain's test to make sure they turned it in. I thought I turned it in. They did not specifically tell any teams who didn't turn it in. I can send it to you if you'd like. Tudo Bem SC is done for 2006. If you want, talk to Min Lwin about getting an indoor team together. I'll let you guys know about playing indoor socer at Irwin, it's a grass field where you can where cleats. It starts after winter break. If you guys would ever like to get together in the future and maybe try to train a little. Soccer sucks down here. I think I'm not doing intramurals in 2006. Sir Alex Ferguson almost resigned once, everyone was certain he would, but he stayed. So I'm not sure, but as of now I definetly don't want to do this again. Everything is not Tudo Bem(all good). I had a lot of fun this year with you guys. It's been a tough semster for me, but I've look forward to our games and playing with you guys. I think I may add two more posts in a week: one talking about every player and another talking about the short history of the club. Have a good semester and good luck in soccer. And if you see Craig, Jesse, Charles, or Gary shake their hand, give them a big hug, a kiss on the head, and then walk away. When you're doing all that make sure you farted before you leave.

MEISTER SCANDAL HITS TUDO BEM: Intramural Board Bans a Tudo Bem Player...Again

There's a reason why Andy Meister has been absent. Last week, Tudo Bem's young, promising player Andy Mesiter was banned from soccer for the remainder of the season, after being caught playing on two teams. This is the second time a Tudo Bem player has been found playing on two teams. Last season, Tudo Bem were left without a goalie for the entire year, because Dane Henning was caught playing in a completely seperate division, the Fraternity Division. The Intramural Soccer Board are trying to hit Tudo Bem with fines, point deductions, forfeits, and a ban from the playoffs. The Tudo Bem Soccer Club has appealed the decision for Andy to be banned. Sir Fergouswksi is absolutely livid. "The Intramural Board are trying to hit us with a scandal. I wish they concentrated more on the officiating. A referee can call a game wrong by not understanding rules about tackling, but Andy Meister can not play again because he accidentally had fun by playing with two teams? It's ridiculous! He's a new player and unfortunately this league has all these weird rules and policies. The divisions are completely seperate, players should be allowed to play in different divisions. It's a common trend for new players in the league to make the mistake, so the punishments they propose to enforce are overboard." Sir Fergouwski's letter to Charles Anderson, the director of the Intramural Board has been posted below. Based on the stubborness in past situations, Mr. Anderson will probably be inept and not allow Andy to play for one team for the remainder of the season. Bring Andy back!

Andrew is a freshmen. He has never done intramurals before. I have been very careful and made sure I told my team that no one could play on two teams. There is nothing more I can do then take the word of my team. Last night we had a game, but Andrew did not play. He will not play on this team again, however, I think that he should be able to play on the other team if he wants to. Intramurals is designed for sports recreation. Andrew made a mistake; it was accidental. Last night in our game, officials said there could be no slide tackling what so ever in the soccer game. The rule handbook never says anything about no slide tackling. Imagine soccer without tackling. At halftime, the Intramural director of the field had to tell the referee he was wrong, he had made a mistake. I knew he had made a mistake and I talked to him before. Considering the mistake was not done intentionally, I can not fault him and demand he never referee again. This is not FIFA or NCAA soccer. So to force someone out of a friendly activity is ridiculous. I think the Intramural Board should reconsider their policy. If a player is found to play on two teams, he should be told he must pick one team or he will be suspended. If there should be a penalty, the player should be unavailable for the team, which he chooses, for 1 game. If the teams must accept problems with the Intramural Soccer League, then the Intramural Board should also be understanding of how these things happen.

Transfer Specials Update

Players In
Billy Barmes
Philip Powell

Players Out
Andy Meister
Tola Sedov (A pair of Spain National Team Warm-Up Pants, which was not agreed on, he was supposed to only borrow them)

Billy Barnes, the player, manager of the lliniois Women's Varsity Team was acquired October 10th. Sir Fergouwski swooped for the versatile player, just before he was about to sign a deal in the fraternity division. "Bill will be a fantastic addition. He can be put anywhere we are having troubles and stop the problems. I know he has a lot of energy, he coaches a lot, so I know he just wants to play", said Sir Fergouwski. Just before the season, Sir Fergouwski has been tracking the taltented attacker Philip Powell. Sir Fergouwski had much to say about the player which he holds in high regards. "Philip had a very demanding schedule. Quad United and International Football Club(IFC) were in contact with Philip, but a deal never materialized. I had given up hope on him finding a team completely! When our scouts got in contact with his agent, I was surprised, but I knew we just had to sign him." Philip seemed to cement a permanent role in the offense. His play along the side of the field against Bemis set up most of the attacks. In addition to being a outside midfielder, he can move up as a forward.
With the transfer window about to close, Sir Fergouwski seems to have completed his shopping list, by bolstering his team for a serious run at the Coveted Intramural T-Shirt. Then again, Sir Fergouwski always seems to have someone or something up his sleeve. David Beckham? Rumors are that Beckham will not sign a new deal at the Bernabeu. The former English captain has fallen out of Italian supremo, Fabio Capello's plans. Beckham has been linked numerous time with a move to the United States. Beckham is the second superstar, and even more intresting, the second Galatico to be linked with Tudo Bem. Previously, Sir Fergouwski has been one of the many coaches who has been linked with Spanish capital outfit. Throughout the years of inconsitentcy, Sir Fergouwski has been brought in for sessions to help Real Madrid find silverware for their trophy case. Above is a picture of Sir Fergouwski with the Madrid keeper Iker Casillas. Sir Fergouwski is still know for his great relationship with Real Madrid. The connections are endless. Former player, Ruud Van Nistelrooy signed for Madrid. Zidane, former #5 for Madrid, has been linked to Tudo Bem. Beckham went to Madrid, but maybe now he plans to reunite with Sir Fergouwski at Tudo Bem. What will happen before November 6th?

Tudo Bem Top of the Table After Spectacular Win

A cold Tuesday night in October will be a night to remember for those fortunate to be in attendance. Although the difference was only a second half goal, Tudo Bem controlled every inch of the field. Bemis, which is also the name of a toliet manufacturer, were number two and flushed away by the teamwork of Tudo Bem. From the kick off, every player on Tudo Bem seemed to be in rhythm. According to the stats book, Tudo Bem set a record for the most passes in a single game. The performances put in by every player were top class. Nevertheless, it was the midfield who showcased a strong, stylish Tudo Bem. On Tuesday, the beating heart of Tudo Bem came from Min Lwin, Alexander Reventlow, and David Rockwood. Throughout the game, Lwin disrupted and cut off Bemis defense from the midfield. Behind him, defensive center midfielder, Reventlow denied Bemis midfielders outlets to their forwards. Perfectly timed tackle after another, he would then find Rockwood with a pass in the middle. Rockwood distributed to wingers Steve Immen and Philip Powell. Immen had his most effective game yet. He tested the keeper, but also battled in the mdifield and defense. His marking along with Peter Bzdyra's canceled anything Bemis attempted. After halftime, new signing Philip Powell continued his superb first half with clever displays of passing and dribbling. Because of the success he had, he along with a few other teammates at halftime advised the team to focus on the flanks. Finally, the strategy paid off after a cross from the tireless Chime. From the right side, the ball bobbled around before it came to the feet of Matthew Swecker. And it was the birthday boy that presented the team with a goal. Josh Paschedag recorded another cleansheet, his third straight. The keeper was called upon a few times for a bending, dangerous free kick and a glancing header. Every time, Paschedag demonstrated agility and concentration by stopping or pushing away the shots. Sir Fergouwski was full of praise for his team. "I'm running out of adjectives to describe the performance. It was simlpy brilliant." Although missing four key players, Sir Fergouwski's changed lineup played marvellously. "I have love, hate feelings for these problems. I love that I can send any 11 men on the field and know I can get a result. But I hate having to pick which 11 I want to start, they are all capable and deserving", said Sir Fergouwski. Fortunately, Sir Fergouwski will have plenty of time to mull of his options, since Tudo Bem have a bye next week. Tudo Bem plays Illini Victory Monday November 6th at 10:00pm at Six Pack Park.

Tonight's Match Canceled

League Officials have deemed the ptich at Old Six Pack Park to be unplayable for tonights, October 17th, match. Despite the forecast that predicted a beautiful, 50 degree, autumn evening, the game has been rescheduled to Monday November 6th at 10:00pm. Apperantly yesterdays heavy rains and flooding has left the ground keepers with plenty of work. Sir Fergouwski was very upset with decision, sighting that Mondays were terrible days for his team because of their other duties for the University. Sir Fergouwski can not have his players missing otherwise the team is forced to pay a heavy fine. If the players can figure a better day, before that date, then Sir Fergouwski has promised to make an appeal. However, as it stands the season will once again end with a match up against Ilini Victory. Last year, a stoppage time heroic goal off a corner by former midfielder Ryan Greene sent Tudo Bem to PKs. Immediately after the goal, the referee blew his whistle to end regulation. After being a goal down with one second left in the game, Tudo Bem would advance to the championship final after triumphing in penalty kicks. Despite the game being cancelled, Sir Fergouwski plans to conitnue training and holding another friendly with Quad United. The training schedule will be posted as soon as it is released. Note - Any fans who were planning on attending the game can contact the Tudo Bem Soccer Club to find out when their tickets can be exchanged for a later date.

Tudo Bem Exclusive: Captian Keane-ski's Critical Interview Leaked

Last week, Tudo Bem Soccer Club Blog was not able to post a controversial interview by TudoBem TV with captain Michael Roy Keane-ski. Although the actually tape has never been seen, a summary of Keane-ski’s words has been leaked to Tudo Bem Soccer Club Blog. Interestingly, a similar situation occurred with the captain of Manchester United in 2005. After Tudo Bem barely snuck past Townie All-Stars and the defeat in the friendly with Quad United, the captain seemed frustrated with the team’s performance. Since Tudo Bem Soccer Club is such a prestigious club, the talented squad members need to play up to their expectations. Simply the team is underperforming. The lack of Textiles in 2005 (ie the Coveted Intramural T-Shirt) and maybe even in 2006, happens because the team is not putting in their best efforts. With plenty of substitutes and games only 50 minutes long, the players need to exhaust themselves on the field. It was evident in the beginning of the Quad United scrimmage the team was not a unit. Players did not focus or take the game seriously. Keane-ski notes that you have to look at other teams. Illini Victory and World Wide Players, these are club teams; however, despite all their practicing and experience playing with each other they can’t get the results. Then there is Quad United. New faces continue to appear on the team, yet they are always a strong team. Keane-ski agreed with the relfections made after the friendly by the Quad United coach. Quad United also beat International Football Club, this past weekend. IFC, another established club, has the same problems as the other club teams. It’s a team of players with different agendas. Indeed, there are a few players who put their heart into the game. But as long as there are players that put their priorities before the team, they will never have the success they once had. Apparently, Keane-ski feels the team is at a hurdle. Despite, there are no numbers in the Loss Column, it could change in a second, and another disappointing season will conclude. Keane suggests that the team first needs to enjoy and embrace their situation. As Keane-ski well knows, you may not be with soccer forever. The pay off of focusing and working hard is outstanding. Of course, there needs to be selfishness by the opponent’s goal and in the attack. But the team needs to pass the ball around and communicate. There are times for quick counters that must take only a few passes, but the tempo of the game must be controlled by possession, which means moving the ball. Keane recognizes the team must stop always trying to dribble past opponents. Instead of always taking on players, try to give-and-go with a teammate. 2v1, 3v2, or 7v5 situations make the game, so the team must use each other for the advantage. The means are more important than the ends. Captain Keane-ski’s advice will be needed in the game against Illini Victory at 10:00pm at Six Pack Park on October 17th. The top of the table battle will surely be the game of the season. Illini Victory are a very offensive team and their players battle. Hopefully, Captain Keane-ski’s words don’t fall on deaf ears. Tudo Bem, Joga Bonita (Play Beautiful)!

Practice on a cold windy day....

Hi guys,

We had a great practice, thanks all who came today. Well, it was cold Urbana cold. I guess it is time, I hear that Buffalo had a snowstorm of some kind...

Anyway, let go back to the practice. It was a really challenging game. Both team played pretty them well.... Tudo Bem, obviously very young very dynamic team, were all over the field. Short effective passes, couple of long shoots and a strong defense. Of course, lets not forget the keeper, who saved quite a bit of shoot today. On the other hand, Quad United played with experience of being together for a while. Both teams scored nice goals.

Ok, on the down side, I felt Tudo Bem had some difficulty generating goal positions. And I felt, it is kind of related to the field. Here is the case, we didn't play full field, instead we used two small goals. So it was more like a indoor soccer. Most of my team had quite a bit of experience playing in indoor soccer together, so it might gave them some sort of advantage time to time. But still, what I felt, the Tudo Bem is quite fast and dynamic. It is really good, when we play on a big field. You can have long runs, and go around the defense, since everybody pushes up for the offside tactic. Perhaps, we should have indoor practice together, time to time. Indoor is completely different. No where to run... Also, we should definitely take advantage of our speed. Long balls to the wing, will be effective. Last game having difficulty on scoring proves it.

Ok, this is all from me... Lets hear the captain now, he was there too...

By the way, our counter already hit 200, I am guessing everybody is enjoying following this blog...

Have a nice weekend, see you on Tuesday...

Sky Sports: Tudo Bem Mania and Zizou?!?

It's incredible, Sky Sports responded to an email and did a small segment on Tudo Bem Soccer Club during the nightly broadcast! It aired very late last night. There is a recording of the broadcast below. This is truley a defining moment for the club as it demonstrates Tudo Bem growing popularity; some call it Tudo Bem Mania. This small achievement will help Tudo Bem's marketability by increasing its status as a club with fans from around the world. In addition, there is a sound clip from Zidane responding to the speculation of him coming out of retirement to sign for Tudo Bem SC. The translation is below. You'll need to pause the music on the iPOD to hear the recordings. The first is from Sky Sports, the second from Zizou. Stop it when they're done and then play the iPOD again.

"I can not say where I will go, I must think. It is true that I have talked to, Sir Fergouwski. I am impressed by the team, Tudo Bem. I am retired, but the team is very good and they play with style. I would like to win the Intramural T-Shirt. It has alluded me. It is something I have dreamed about since I was a boy."

Game 2 - Result (Tudo Bem vs Townie All-Stars)

Tudo Bem Wins Battle After PKs

Without a goal on the board for either team after 50 minutes, pentaly kicks would unfortunately have to settle the match. Despite the absence of Co-Captain David Rockwood and having to go through always unpredictable PKs, Tudo Bem deservedly came away with their second win. In the very beginning of the game, Townie All-Scum seemed to control the midfield by winning loose balls and attacking with pace. However, the intimidating entrance of Ergin at right back and the presence of striker Chime Asonye's, his first game back for Tudo Bem in 2006, seemed to turn the attention of Townie All-Scum back to their threatened goal. Asonye carried two defenders on his back throughout the entire game as he continously penetrated and provided an attacking outlet for Tudo Bem. As Chime fought, his goal seeking partner, Jeff Luong, played an important role by always opening up space, moving the ball, and providing another outlet up top. Sir Fergouwski continued to tinker with the formation as he set up Tudo Bem in a more standard 4-4-2 formation. Attacking center midfielder Min Lwin was pushed up close toward the forward line in order to add more pressure and be another dimension for the attack from the center of the field. In addition, Tim Bosslet was able to sit back further behind the back line in the sweeper role to accomidate for the fantastic speed of a few of the Townie players. While the offense continued to break down Townie All-Scum in search for a goal, the midfielders were able to find their feet. From then on Townie bunkered in as Tudo Bem hustled and moved the ball around as they searched for gaps in the Townie defense. Occasionally, Townie were able to pull off a hand full of counter attacks. Remembering the cracking tackle by Alexander Reventlow on a helpless Townie winger, Townie realized their only chance could be by a quick long ball. It seemed dangerous at first, until Richardson, Bosslet, Ramsland, and Ceyhan warmed up. Bosslet played a solid game at the back, clearing and stealing the ball from the strikers right at the goal, leaving goalie Josh Paschedag bored with a few off target shots. Paschedag would be called on later. Tudo Bem camped out in the other half as Richardson directed and distributed to his wingers, Piotr Bzdyra and Steve Immen, who pentrated putting in numerous crosses and winning corners. Billy's debut showing was very solid. The veteran player signed the deal this week, the 9th new signing by Sir Fergouwski this season. His intelligence and composure on the ball helped greatly in the middle of the field along with Matt Swecker. Nevertheless, some how the brusied and bickering Townie All-Scum managed to keep the ball out of their net. Dreaming for the final whistle, they soon had nightmares in a blowout Penalty Kick Shootout. Matthew Richardson, Tim Bosslet, Chime Asonye, and finally Min Lwin blazed their shots passed a standstill goalie. Ready for the occasion, Paschedag only had to deal with two shots, because two shots were blasted off target. The penatly kick break down of the All-Scum was examplified as a few of their own players shamlessly walked off the field during the shooout. The referee, whose understanding of the laws of the games on tackling should be questioned, said that "Tudo Bem, Townie All-Stars, and Genovia were the best three teams he had seen play." Sir Fergouwski was also very pleased with the match, but knows the push towards the coveted Intramural T-Shirt will only become more difficult. "I was worried in the beginning, but I was proud of the players to battle hard. It's only their second game of the season, but I saw a good improvement in the communication and understanding between the players. We're going to need to keep up this fast learning curve, because we can't afford to slip up in our next games against even better opponents." As the weather gets colder it will become harder and more important to start off the game flying, which can be won or lost in the first minutes of the game. Tudo Bem will have to be at their best, when they play Ilini Victory October 17th at 10:00pm when they travel away to the East grounds, Old Six Pack Park.

Game 2 - Information

Our second game is on Tuesday 10/10/2006 against TOWNIE ALL-STARS. Let our captain know if you cannot make it to the game.

Game 1 - Result (Tudo Bem vs. World Wide Players)

That was a good game. Result was 4-0 we won, of course. Two nice shots and two nice penalty kicks. Game was fabulous.

Good job team...

Tudo Bem exploded through the gates with their first victory as they thrashed a woeful lookng World Wide Players. It appears the fresh squad of Tudo Bem is ready to mount a run towards the coveted Intramural T-Shirt. The game took place at Six Pack Park and kicked off at 10:00pm under the lights in a beautiful 70 degree evening. Despite the new faces, Tudo Bem worked well together as they scored 4 goals. Eccentric manager Sir Fergouwski started Tudo Bem in a 4-5-1 formation. It appeared as though the players were confused about their positions at first, however, striker Jeff Luong burried the ball in the net 2 minutes into the game. The striker carried the ball past the defensive line and drilled it into the back of the net. Min Lwin, who sat behind Luong at attacking midfielder, pressured and moved the ball to keep the game in the opposing hald. Tudo Bem were then gifted with two penalty kicks, which were cooly slotted home by central midfielder Matt Richardson. Quickly, though, World Wide Scum moved down field and pressured with a few nail biting chances. However, keeper Paschedag always seemed ready to meet the attempts. With another goal by Luong before the half to put them well ahead, Tudo Bem were able to move the ball and find a style of play. Striker Steve Immen replaced Luong up top and troubled the defense with his hard running. Along the flanks Bzdyra and Reventlow worked hard getting up and down the field. Erik Ramsland battled for the middle of field and was able to stop down multiple runs. Nevertheless, when the ball slipped in behind, sweeper Bosslet came crashing in with tackles and long passes to counter. After the final whistle, Tudo Bem had produced. Tudo Bem, however, looked weak at their marking back positions. Hopefully, they will be on the same page moving the ball around and playing with flare when they take on Townie All-Stars on October 10th at 10:00pm.
