A New Year, A New Tudo Bem

Following last year's disappointing season, Tudo Bem SC has set high expectations for the 2007 season. Last year, the board of Tudo Bem SC forgot to turn in their captain's test. As a result the team was forced to the sidelines and lost another precious year to win the coveted intramural t-shirt. Similar to the disappointment of the season, the departures of great players left 2006 as a bad memory for the players and fans. Both Tudo Bem legend Ergin Ceyhan and British superstar Mattie Richardson returned to their home countries. However, 2006 seems to have taught Tudo Bem a lesson as they will use their experience to win in 2007.

Tudo Bem has moved quickly in the transfer market. Tudo Bem has raided Waynakelb for Sulav and Sarit Singh, Rob, and Gavin. The Singh brothers are famous for their quickness, skill, and awareness on the field. The brothers will be key additions to the team's success this season.

Perhaps the greatest and priciest acquisition took place this season. Four time World Cup winner Mehmet Oz signed for Tudo Bem. Rumors of Mehmet signing for Tudo Bem start circulating after the World Cup last year. It is also believed former Tudo Bem legend and Turkish player Ergin Ceyhan played a large role in Mehmet's reason for signing. Also Sir Fergowski was seen with Mehmet last year duing the World Cup further showing the long term process involved in acquire the World Cup champ. Sir Fergowski had this to say about the player, "He's the most skilled player I've seen. His touch and ability to beat players is tremendous. He's a natural goal scorer and his acquisition will prove to be invaluable." Tudo Bem has set a buyout clause of $154 million dollars or ($200 million Turkish lira). The Turkish sensation will feature immediately for Tudo Bem and will probably play as an attacking center midfielder. Mehmet could not be reached for comment.

Also in a recent turn of events, striker Chime Asyone has contacted the Tudo Bem board. The striker was absent without leave for a couple games last year. In addition, last year the Nigerian striker did not nearly hit the form he had in his first year with Tudo Bem. However, Chime is out to prove his critics wrong by passing the ball and find the back of the net. In addition, the outstanding midfielder Phillip Powell also is hoping to renew his contract. He too recently contacted the board. His future will be sorted quickly to see if he will resign or go out on loan for a season.

This is the last year for many of the Tudo Bem originals. The team must win the coveted intramural t-shirt or live with never winning the t-shirt with such a talented group. However, this year will prove tricky as the opposition is stacked. Tudo bem must unite, be patient with each other, and work together if they ever want to wear the coveted intramural t-shirt in 2007.
